With the hefty rent that we have to pay in New York, it seems that a lot of us are all staying pretty local for the sweaty days of Summer in order to stay afloat. We’re in a recession! But either way, it is summa time and we all need treats and retreats. Whether its going to some foreign land or a weekend away upstate, it is necessary to take a break. So on a journey around Williamsburg, Working Class stopped and asked some folks what their big plans were for the summer.
I want to take my first cruise ever.
Workin’, Cali and Vegas.
Trying to make big choices with small opportunities.
Learning to cook Korean food from maangchi.com.
Going upstate to Warwick, working on a garden and cleaning out an old barn to make it habitable.
Trying to spend as much time at the beach as I can.
Boating. I’m a member of the boating community. Also, eating lots of meat and fresh vegetables.
Traveling around the continental U.S. and throwing in some regattas on the West Coast.
