The new portfolio of prints by photographer Peter Sutherland was produced when he went back through his photo archive and found that hundreds of his shots were taken facing directly into the sun, causing lens flare. Sutherland cropped down his photos and a natural series emerged, each flare becoming a gritty form with a unique shape and color.
The book consists of 8 prints measuring 8 x 12” and are housed in a black debossed portfolio. The signed and numbered edition of 100 is presented with a risograph certificate.
If you’re going to be at Art Basel stop by the Printed Matter space at Art Metropole, in the Bookstore section, just outside the main fair entrance at Gate B, to check it out.
